As one of the leaders in landscape architecture and design, having won the President’s Design Award in 2007 for Designer of the Year, Cicada approached Method for a branding that matched their calibre.
Cicada’s logo was modernised with a new font and a minimalist design with three dots that evoked the eyes of a cicada. This minimalist philosophy was maintained throughout the website, which allowed more of Cicada’s award winning designs to be shown in all their glory. The responsive website features projects in a slideshow, with a set of curated photos arrayed in thumbnails in the ‘Details’ page. The images on the site are "pin-friendly" on Pinterest, in order to leverage Cicada’s popularity through this platform.
