Front-end Developer

At Method, we believe that technology has tremendous possibilities to enhance our lives when it is integrated intuitively and naturally. We are seeking a Front-end Developer who is committed to the development of an exemplary digital product from concept through execution. As a front-end developer, you will work closely with the design team under the guidance of our lead developer.

    Responsibilities:
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimise application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

    Experiences
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3 and responsive websites
  • Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
  • Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe products such as Adobe XD, Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign is a plus.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
  • Good understanding of SEO principles
  • Basic knowledge in server-side scripts (PHP) and databases (MySQL)
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the field, diploma level
Visual Designer

Visual Designers at Method work on projects for some of the most desirable brands in the hospitality, residential and lifestyle sectors. We’re looking for multifaceted, collaborative designers to work on everything from a website to digital marketing collaterals.

    Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the initial creative process and developing a strong concept
  • Prepare and assemble mood board for internal and client review
  • Execute UI/UX design mockups including responsive screens
  • Work with developers to implement the static design into a working prototype

    Experiences
  • Strong layout skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Knowledge in photography
  • Keen interest in design, architecture and lifestyle sectors
  • Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design and UX wireframing
  • Understand the limitations of user interaction on different presentation mediums such as tablets and mobile phones is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe products such as Adobe XD, Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign is a plus.

Social Media Executive

As the Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for content creation for our agency and client’s social media channels (Facebook, Instagram). In this role, you should be social media savvy, display empathy and an excellent communicator. You will work closely with our creative team to conceptualise, produce lifestyle contents from photography to copywriting.

    Responsibilities:
  • Generate content on social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook and Youtube)
  • Conceptualise and develop new social media campaigns according to clients’ needs and target audience
  • Listen for related posts & topics, then capitalise on those trends through our social channels
  • Perform research into our clients’ industries and provide actionable tips and advice for expanding their reach in the digital space
  • Assist with capturing and analysing social media metrics

    Experiences
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • A keen eye for detail and passion for styling

Webmaster

As a Webmaster, you will be responsible for making sites user-friendly, attractive and engaging. In this role, you should be detailed-oriented and an excellent communicator. Balancing a creative eye with an analytical mind is essential. You will ensure the functionality and efficiency of web infrastructure.

  • Build functional and easy-to-use websites
  • Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices

  • Proven experience as a Webmaster or Web Developer
